Appreciation Week

Appreciation week is a week we show appreciation to people who cares for us. Our teacher, Mdm Siti, asks us to make cards for the people we appreciate. To me, appreciation week is not about cards, it's the thoughts that counts. Most people will make cards to show their appreciation to people around them and that's fine (even I myself make cards). But when making the card, you have to do it with sincerity, don't just do it for the sake of doing it.

Racial Harmony Day

Dear Madam Siti, thank you for organizing such a wonderful Racial Harmony Day for us. I felt very happy because we had an hour recess and we tried many traditional games, food and costumes. During the one hour recess, I felt happiest because I didn't need to rush even though I went to the library and played many interesting games. There were some different stalls that sold delicious food. For example: Ice Kachang Ball, Roti Prata, Cotton Candy, Satay and many more. Then I played various types of games. After recess, we went to the hall to assemble for the show titled ''The Importance of Being Kay-Po.'' The show was so funny that we couldn't stop laughing. The last activity of the day was to make a Bunga Managua. First, the teacher gave us one long stick and a streamer. Next, she showed us how to make the Bunga Managua. At first, I found it very hard to do. However, when I did the second one, I found it easier. After a few hours, when all the streamers and sticks were used up, our teacher told us to sit on the floor. After we settled down, she told us what we were going to do next. It was after then we began to get restless again, after a while, she managed to clam us down. For the last step to complete the Bunga Managua, we had to take off our shoes while she put a chair in front of the Bunga Managua. One by one we took turns to pierce the sticks that we made in the Styrofoams. When we finished, the ''dull'' Bunga Managua became very colourful and attractive. Even though I was very exhausted I enjoyed myself very much.

My first pet

My first pet was a hamster, his name was Jason. I found my hamster very cute. I loved my hamster very much. If he could talk and do homework for me, I would bring him to the examination hall with me.
